Fastenal’s local sales force is the heart and soul of Fastenal and has thousands of location options, allowing us to build strong relationships with our customers through superior service while selling industrial, construction, and safety supplies business-to-business. New team members learn the basics of branch operations by assisting with inside and outside sales functions, managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and making deliveries, often while balancing school and internship credits or other commitments. Our entry-level B2B sales careers have exciting flexible career progression options. Many transition into Account Specialists who focus on a few larger customers in the area, Outside Sales or General Managers who maintain a book of business for several customers within a local territory, or become highly-trained industry specialists serving as a trusted consultant while focusing on key business industries, including Safety, Construction, Metalworking, Vending Solutions, Government, Engineering and National Accounts where a customer has multiple locations where we service their supply chain needs.
